- Gorey Summer Fair, July 31 to August 9
Organised by Gorey Community Development Group, essentially it
is a community festival which has expanded dramatically since
first established in 1986. It is recognised as one of the premier

- Taghmon Mardi Gras
You are all very welcome to come along to our Mardi Gras Festival
which takes place every August. Street music, singing pub competitions,
fancy dress, floats, grand parade and lots of other attractions
in Taghmon village, Co. Wexford. Taghmon is surrounded by many

- Ar mBreacha House of Storytelling
In an old thatched farmhouse in Ballyduff, Camolin, Co. Wexford
every first Tuesday night of each month and every Tuesday night
of July and August, the local people gather to tell their stories,
sing their songs and play their music.
This is an authentic traditional farmhouse gathering. There
is no artificial hype or publicity. Each person who arrives
is a welcome guest, there is no fee charged. This is Irish hospitality
at its best. People who bring refreshments share them out with
the evening's gathering. Ar mBreacha means 'our roots' and it
seeks to 'bring the past with us into the future'.

- Kilmore Quay Seafood Festival, July 12 to July 20
This is an annual seafood festival which will be mainly sponsored
by the Kilmore Quay fish industry. Some of the major events planned
are a seafood B.B.Q.,a galley cook competition, a fish food fair,
pub talent competitions, children's talent competition, raft race,
table quiz, children's drama, craft, music and activity sessions.
